A 180 million rupees loan were disbursed for young entrepreneurs under the “Thurunu Diriya Loan Scheme”
Under “Thununu Diriya” Loan Programme of Enterprise Sri Lanka Government Concession Loan Scheme, the Bank of Ceylon has provided 180 million rupees to young entrepreneurs throughout the country.
According to the Progress Report of Thurunu Diriya Loan Scheme which has published on 26th of March has stated that the Bank of Ceylon has released a huge amount of loans among 427 young entrepreneurs across the country. Most of the loans have given to Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Thurunu Diriya Loan Scheme is collaborating with the Bank of Ceylon, the Policy Development Division of the Prime Minister’s office, Medium Programme Management Unit and Youth Affairs, Small Enterprises Development Division to empower the youth entrepreneurs of the country.
